Weight loss Wednesday: week 2

Weight Loss Wednesday Report

How far along? 2 weeks
Weight up or down? 900g down
Total weight loss: 2Kg
BMI: 27
Clothes: Loser. Fitting better.
Sleep: not so good this week. Being sleeping late and waking up very early
Skin: nice and clear

Exercise:
-   Cardio:   5 days. Spinning sessions increased to 50 minutes.
-   General circuit training: only 2 times this week
-   Walks: every day. Started walking with my friend Tracy and Bilbo every morning through the mountain track an average of 1h 45min each day.

Food
Food plan: portion reduction and fruits.
Food journal: logged my food journal every day in MyFitnesspal.com
Food cravings:  red meat. Had a delicious piece of entrecote on Tuesday.

Happy or moody most of the time?  Half and half. Have had a very busy week and my mood was great during the day but got a bit low at night. Guess reduction in calories intake is starting to show effects.
Best moment this week: no pins and needles in the morning after a good workout the previous day.
Worst moment this week: finding out one of my credit cards has been stolen!
Miss anything?  Cheese and wine
Looking forward to: Begin my Tracy Anderson Perfect Design Series workout and being allowed to drink some wine this weekend.

What I ate on Wednesday: fruit, egg, bread and coffee for breakfast;
egg burger at VIPS with a side salad and no chips for lunch
and a juicy and delicious entrecote for dinner accompanied by a green salad. Pure goodness.

I'm posting this week Wednesday Weight Loss late. It’s Thursday, but I have a good excuse for the delay. My credit card was stolen and I have been busy cancelling my credit cards and making statements at the police and going to the bank, so here is my Wednesday report on a Thursday.

I’m getting better at keeping track of my food intake as well as keeping my exercise routine every day.  The fact that my friend Tracy joined me in my morning walks has been a great motivator to keep doing it every day and not finding excuses not to go all the way up the mountain.

On Wednesday I visit the local fitness store and found Miguel, who used to train with my husband a couple of years ago. We went together through my food journal and he said I was having a very low calorie intake but too much fruit and not enough protein so he recommended to increase my protein intake by exchanging one of my daily meals with a protein shake similar to Shakeology (which unfortunately is not easy to find in Spain). This is the first time I will be taking protein shakes, I was a bit apprehensive about it but after trying the first shake today I can say it wasn't that bad. My only complaint would be that the shake is way too sweet for me.

All in all this week has been good in the fitness department.
